Amber Phang

Amber Phang’s works focus on simple abstract form. She is fascinated by the associations people make as they interpret the world around us, and likes to create objects with a broad and ambiguous reference. She enjoys exploring with different mediums. Amber creates sculptures/ installations as a way to construct artwork that regards the environment or questions people through the art. Her work offers the viewer a unique ability to see beyond the material realities, yet always resonates with people emotionally. Amber Phang (b. 1992) was trained in Fine Arts (Sculpture) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor’s in Professional Communication at Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) – RMIT University, Australia where she specialised in Strategy Planning, Marketing, Advertising, PR, and Media Content Creation.
