Vu Thuy

Vu Thuy was born in 1971, Hai Phong, Vietnam. His art style focuses itself on natural matters: often depicting tranquil images of lotus leaves, trees, reflections, and water bodies. His attention to details and muted colours are highly meditative and calming. Fiidaa Art invites you to be charmed by his emotive expression of Vietnam!

Vu Thuy is an artist of much repertoire, having been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions, the National Fine Arts Exhibition and Vietnam Fine Art Museum.

"l was born in an east coast city but I have a love for the mountainous region of my country. When I was a student, I came to the mountains and lived with the minority people. Their unique manner attracted me and inspired me to compose my arts. Finally it helped me form my art style - being one with the nature, while keeping a balance of abstraction and realism".
